I haven’t looked at the video, so can’t be sure what it is about. I suspect though it is not about an eruption causing damage. It is most likely about a large mud flow. The surface of Mt. Rainier is covered with altered volcanic rock that is now frozen. Warm the mountain up a little, the ice melts and a very large section of this altered rock, now mud, rocks and ice gives up its perch to the effects of gravity and goes rolling down the valleys. In the past, these have reached Puget Sound, leaving debris 20-50 feet or more deep in a wide path back up to the mountain.
That is what the big threat is from Mt. Rainier. This could happen even if the mountain didn't become very active, but only got a little magma movement and maybe not even spit out any ash.
