[Rockhounds] 'The difference between alarming and catastrophic': Cascadia megafault has 1 especially deadly section, new map reveals

I have lived in the Puget Sound area (Tacoma-Everett area) all my 76 years,
and there has been one major event in my time. Namely, the St. Helen's
eruption. Notice, that most (if not all) of the major eruptions of the
Cascade Mountains have blown to the East. Eastern WA is covered with lava
flows. On the West side, very little lava and ash. For quakes, my only
advice is to have food and water stored. Also, live inland near or on top
of a hill for tsunamis and not close to a river, to avoid pyroclastic flows
from an eruption. I have worried less about these all my life than being in
a nuclear target zone.
