Hi Pete: Thanks for weighing in. I have not done the acid test yet. Ran out
of muriatic acid a little bit ago, and have been waiting to go to Home
Depot until I have a more complete shopping list. But I will check to test
this idea and let you know. It looks somewhat like flowstone on the top,
but the underneath is very vessicular. I put up some more photos on my
