List Friends, I appreciate all the reminders I receive and read via this list. I have friends here that bring smiles to my face in memories of when, not so long ago that I was right there in the middle of field trips hither and yon.

Cancer and age have (as we say in the airline industry) “clipped my Wings.)” 88 and just clean after my 8/13/19 surgery, I yearn to be uncovering Geodes, Brecciated Jaspers, etc. My grandsons, now 34 and 31 were on many of those trips. Anthony, then 8 was old enough to use machinery and was taught to form and polish cabs by the wonderful Diamond Pacific brother (senior moment on name, maybe Bob De ew.)

I am saddened to see a difference of opinion/belief tear asunder yet another group within which I spent many happy days.
