Steve took me and my collecting buddy Danny around Indiana to his collecting spots, where we found geodes with great big FL calcites inside, to Ft Knox Ky sites to collect big slabs of Indiana bedrock with geodes lines with FL crystals. He was very generous with his knowledge of the area, of the minerals, with his collection of great things from the area.
I have bought some things to help him now that he is bedfast even though I no longer collect much. He was a good friend and a great rockhound!
