[Rockhounds] First word discovered in unopened, charred Herculaneum scroll by 21-year-old computer science student

First word to be read from a scroll that was burned and buried at 
Herculaneum, a seaport near Pompeii that was buried by the volcano, 
without opening the scroll.

Not the first word ever spoken.
