[Rockhounds] Sahara space rock 4.5 billion years old upends assumptions about the early Solar System

 This article is loosely strung together.

I don't understand how knowing the age of this rock or its composition, is useful to know whether certain of the elements or isotopes involved were evenly spread out in the proto solar system or clumped together.
