[Rockhounds] Heading to Europe

If you throw a mineral specimen in Germany you have a good chance of hitting
a mineral specimen dealer. They have a couple huge shows. We had a day at
Idar-Oberstien Deutsches Mineralienmuseum (which is supposed to be
fantastic) but my sister had other plans (namely getting ripped wine tasting
on the Mosel, which was a better choice for the gals). Anyway it's not
impossible to go there from Frankfurt but it would be a long train ride. I
have a friend in Heidelberg, I'll give him a shout, see what he knows about
Frankfurt. You might be past the end of wine festival time but if you can
find a small town festival, GO! Was one of our best experiences in Europe,
super friendly locals, a couple of whom even understood my pigden German,
and the Wine Festival Queen who made sure we got off at the right train stop
:D

Subject: [Rockhounds] Heading to Europe

I'm heading off to Europe, and for the first time will be visiting Germany
and Prague. I'll be in Munich, Cologne, Frankfort, and Rothenburg along
with Prague. Any suggestions for museums and dealers to visit whilst
travelling?

As always, thanks gang!
