[Rockhounds] Somehow the best pics are always fuzzy and out of focus!

You would think that out of the millions of images from Mars rovers, one of them would have one of these insects in good focus, with the same amount of detail we get of average rocks and pebbles. 

But all the best insect photos are really fuzzy and of uniformly poor quality -- why is that??? 

Maybe I'm just being difficult, but it makes me suspicious that these photos are interpreted as the authors so strongly wish them to be, rather than as they actually are. Queen bee on Mars, bzz, bzzz, bzzzz, what a great story headline !!!
