[Rockhounds] Lahaina Noon

I don't know how this relates to rocks, but It may to interest 
scientific minds.  Monday the 18th is  Lahaina Noon in Hilo.  For those 
interested look it up on the web or check out the links below.

According to the Bishop Museum 
<https://www.bishopmuseum.org/astronomy-resources/>, this phenomenon 
only occurs in the tropics; the Sun is never directly overhead in any 
other part of the planet.

Maybe rocks cast no shadow on Lahaina Noon that makes it relevant.
