[Rockhounds] Talc incognito....

Dear colleagues,

 

In these time of lockdown, one has to think of something useful to do. So,
for your entertainment I added a wonderful specimen to the MKA fluorescence
website.

It's talc, be it in the crystal form of quartz. A rarity from the Fichtel
mountain range in Germany.

This pseudomorphosis, talc after quartz, has been known from this locality
since the early 1800's.

As a bonus: it fluoresces!
