Some years ago, a friend who worked in a graphite mill traded me several unusual very large lumps of native graphite from Sri Lanka. I recently found these again in the "lost caverns" of my basement, and can offer them as unique "crystalline" mineral display items.
These are vein/nodule type Carbon masses, very pure, and very old, having been formed in ancient rocks under intense pressure and temperature for a long time. They were hand-extracted from what is probably the only place in the world they are found in such size and purity, old Ceylon.  I have 3 pieces, 4X4X14, 5X7X9, and 4X13X20 cm in size, the largest weighing 2.4 pounds. They are VERY dirty, and will instantly grease up anything they touch.
I can send photos to anyone interested. I am asking $40 ea. for the smaller ones, and $50 for the large one. Free shipping in the US.
