[Rockhounds] AD- Downsizing

Carolyn,

I am a potential buyer for your feldspar minerals, being a species collector with a fondness for the rock-forming minerals I learned about in geology classes. Apart from albite and orthoclase, feldspars are seldom available from dealers so I keep searching for the less common ones. Reedmergnerite has been on my want list for years, after passing up on a specimen that was just too expensive, and at least another dozen feldspars are desired that I’ve never seen offered for sale.

I’m also interested in your “strange to weird” items if you are prepared to offer them at moderate prices.

I do not collect micro mounts or thumbnails, so I’m limited to acquiring only specimens of 3.5 to 5.2 cm largest dimension for crystals or 3.5 cm minimum for matrix samples that can be trimmed to miniature size.

I’m not looking for beauty, just a nice sample of the mineral. Cleavage pieces are acceptable. Send me a list when you have time and are willing to sell selected specimens. I do have a fondness for New York State minerals. For a lark, I would be glad to obtain a labradorite sample from Mt. Marcy.
