I've been exercising my "mineral mind" tackling flat after flat of unlabeled minerals from the Garza garage. The list below is largely compiled from the best of those specimens that I could match to a locality. There are some surprises, so look closely. I'll be visiting Steve and Dee on Monday taking back specimens I wasn't able to ID and to get more. A new list will be forthcoming.

Fall has finally arrived - with record highs in September and the first three days of October, it will be pleasant to work in their garage! We had, not only the driest September on record, but the driest month since records began in 1872, while September 2018 was the wettest on record. (Not the wettest month of all...) I'd love to see an average instead of the extremes.
