[Rockhounds] Fossils worth 100, 000 Dollars stolen at Aurora, Colorado, Hotel

People do some dumb stuff with rocks minerals and fossils worth $$$$ like not locking down their trailer hitch with a $20 lock. One dealer from a local show packed up his Montana sapphires (trays of them) and left his car unlocked in a McDonalds parking lot. He was followed by thieves from the show and I bet they were gone in 60 seconds. A collector in Idaho was hit because he had all his best specimens from the Wallace area silver mines in his curio shop/museum window, and he was rarely even there.

Ah yes, we read about this in Denver, back during the show.  It has taken a while (through yourself!) to reach the rest of the world!  I've never heard any follow-up about it.
