Hello,

I visited Steve Garza last month and he was doing okay. We had a conversation about the minerals from the alpine mineral deposit in Acushnet, Massachusetts, of which he collected. With winter, that makes working in their unheated garage a bit less inviting. Dee is still working on cleaning and labeling material, part of a small backlog when I find identified minerals. They've had two tornados not too far from their house, but the last one was a little further away than the first.

Me? While I'd have preferred to go collecting, I had emergency eye surgery a couple of days after Christmas. Doing much better. Minerals look better with two eyes than one. ;>))
