Fossils are in fashion, with private buyers snapping up prehistoric remains
online and at auction but the trend is raising concerns within the
scientific community.
In the saleroom at Christie's auction house in London, buyers are crowding
round to view - not works of fine art, antique furniture or jewellery - but
fossils from an era so far in the past it is hard to fathom.
