[Rockhounds] UV lamps

Short Wave LEDs exist and hobbyists are playing around with them. However, I wouldn’t hold your breath. They are expensive, low power, still require a filter, and not currently at the “right” wavelength. The Convoy is an excellent light, but we aren’t anywhere close to that for shortwave. There are plenty of pictures using the Convoy in the blog post as well.
