Bill and I saw a report on TV news about a superintendent of a Pennsylvania school district arming classrooms with buckets of rocks for students to throw in case there's a shooter.  If you put "school kids with rocks" into search you'll find several stories, some with pictures of the river rocks that go in the buckets.
