[Rockhounds] Ongoing Eruptions...and green sand... and Hawaii minerals

Going back to the comments about other minerals found in Hawaii, there was a really nice exhibit of minerals from Hawaii at the 2018 Tucson Show, put in by the Keiki Mineral Club, of Honolulu.  Two display cases full (one mostly minerals, one more rocks) in fact.  There were (I'm looking at photos I took of the displays, lots of calcite, sulfur, and quartz, gypsum, a few zeolites. I see some augite crystals... I don't notice any peridot, perhaps they were all too small to look good in the display.  I can't quite read all the labels in my photos, so we can just speculate about the rest.

I am the alleged expert in the family, but my wife (almost) always finds the best field specimens; my wife has more fun in the field, but has
(absolutely) no interest in the science behind the specimen. One of these things is not like the other.  One of these things just doesn't belong, Can you tell which thing is not. I wish I had my wife's eyes. I'm just glad she shares.
