Thanks for sharing this summary-video, Gary.
It is indeed perhaps one of the most interesting moments to visit Hawai'i,
but for the people who lost their house it's sad.
But indeed, panic would be very bad for the tourism on your island.
People abroad are mostly very poorly informed about the real level of danger
in a country.
The same is valid for e.g. Guatemala, South-Africa... and...
Belgium/Brussels :>))

A great summative video of what's going on here in Hawai'i.

Remember, though, MOST OF THE BIG ISLAND ISN'T AFFECTED... NONE OF THE
OTHER ISLANDS ARE!
Folks here are REALLY happy that Dorothy and I are here on the Big Island.
Business is way off. We're up at the north end of the Big Island now...
you'd never know an eruption is happening. Yet... folks are cancelling
rooms at the Airbnb's up here. All the business folks and locals that we've
talked to are REALLY happy we are here. So....
If you have a trip planned to the big island of Hawai'i... COME! The people
are counting on you. If you have a trip to any of the other islands there
is NO REASON to worry about anything!
