[Rockhounds] Bog Iron - Photos

How fortuitous!  I'm moving a bunch of rock boxes around from the garage to
outside storage and what should pop to the surface?  A hunk of that bog iron
that I mentioned a couple of weeks ago.  What's neat is that it's a natural
pipe!

This was collected in Middletown, NJ somewhere around 1966.  A piece of this
went out to a New Mexico rockshop as a trade... my very first one!  I must
have last looked at this specimen a LONG time ago.  It was wrapped in a
couple of sheets from a 1992 New York Times.
