Thanks, Alan! Without more context, I just couldn't figure that one out. (The best I could think of was, did it mean Thermoluminescent, but that didn't seem likely.)
And, P.S., to Kreigh and the List, first off, I know how the nomenclature of minerals in that group (apatite group) has been complicated and subject to changes over the years, but I checked (the latest Glossary of Minerals), and it's still a valid species name. And, the type locality is listed as Kopeysk, Chelyabinsk, South Ural Mountains, Russia (not a place too many people get to). And lastly, I'm thinking that Kreigh was thinking that J. Seibel referred to Julie Seibel, once (now??) a member of this Rockhounds list, but I believe it referred to John Seibel, mineral dealer (Seibel Minerals, John & Barbara Seibel, the business now run by their son, Andy Seibel, of Tehachapi, CA)).
Someone who knows more, can add more!
Pete

So, Kreigh, what's a TL specimen? (Was that supposed to say TN?)
Cheers, Pete

I acquired a TL specimen of Fluorellestadite at our rock show this week from a dealer and when I got it home I noticed that at the bottom of the label it said "Collected by J. Seibel". Just wondering if there is a list related story here...
