I did realize that and my comment was that NOAA will be more hamstrung than

Tim,
If you read the article you should have seen in bold print the NOAA model
"Doesn't Work". The most accurate model is the European Model. NOAA has
earned their current bad reputation by their own biased actions. I shall
stop there as the only link here to rocks is the crystalline water known has
hail, likely to fall from the hurricane.

Fascinating stuff. Be sure to read the linked article about you know who
proposing to gut NOAA's forecasting program. I guess the trade off of a few
million is worth spending a couple billion more on disaster relief.
