[Rockhounds] Thunder Bay

My son and I are heading up to Thunder Bay this weekend (this was the First
Thing he requested when he got back from 3 years in Africa with the Peace
Corps!  I noted that October was probably not the best month for that...) to
collect amethyst.

Diamond Willow has been my go-to place for well over a decade.  Blue Point
it on the same deposit...but it's a different place.  Any thoughts?  Compare
& contrast?  Other collecting spots?

I am looking forward to that 75-cents-on-the-dollar exchange rate!
